La Gourmandine is a tiny French bakery located in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood that opened up last year. The place smells so delicious you walk in, you won’t believe you’ve waited this long to check it out.
The flaky, buttery croissants are piled high alongside the custard-y desserts with fresh fruit and the sugar-covered pastries. Seriously…the whole place smells like fresh bread and butter.
Heaven, I tell you.
We tried out the croissants and baguette–they were so good I couldn’t help myself from slowly devouring them in the car.
